Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: 6 October 2026
PropDNA is operated by MarketMingle Ltd (HE46046, Limassol, Cyprus). We believe in complete transparency about how we generate revenue and how that revenue model affects — or does not affect — the information we publish. This page explains our affiliate model in plain English.
How We Earn Revenue
When you click a “Start Challenge” button or a firm link on PropDNA and subsequently purchase a prop trading evaluation challenge, we may receive an affiliate commission from the prop firm. This commission is paid by the firm — it does not add any cost to you. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive through PropDNA or navigate directly to the firm's website.
We also have referral partnerships with a small number of trading-tool vendors, such as platform add-ons for futures traders. When you click a partner tool link and buy that tool, the vendor pays us a commission. These links often apply a discount for you, and the commission never adds to the price you pay. Partner tools are shown on PropDNA because of that commercial relationship, and they are labelled “Partner tool” wherever they appear.
Affiliate commissions are the primary mechanism that makes PropDNA free to use. Without this revenue, we could not maintain independent research, verify trader reviews, or operate the platform.
How We Identify Affiliate Links
All outbound links to prop firms on PropDNA route through our tracking endpoint /api/track. This logs the click for affiliate attribution purposes and then immediately redirects you to the firm's website. Affiliate links are marked with rel="nofollow sponsored" in our HTML, as required by search engine guidelines and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.
Partner tool links work differently. They go straight to the vendor's website, are marked rel="sponsored", and carry a referral code in the link itself. PropDNA does not log these clicks; the vendor tracks the referral on its own site, under its own cookie and privacy policy, and our cookie settings do not control it.
Which Firms Have Affiliate Relationships
We have active affiliate relationships with a subset of the firms listed on PropDNA. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship is not disclosed on individual firm cards because doing so would create perverse incentives — it might cause users to distrust non-affiliate firms or suspect bias toward affiliate firms. Instead, we disclose the model here and enforce a structural separation between commercial relationships and rankings.
We have affiliate relationships with some — not all — of the firms listed on PropDNA. Which firms these are changes over time as we establish new relationships and as firms join or leave affiliate programmes.
How Affiliate Relationships Cannot Affect Rankings
Our Trust Scores are calculated algorithmically from published firm data, PropDNA verification and verified trader reviews. The algorithm is documented at /methodology. The key structural safeguards:
- Trust Scores are computed from firm data and review data only. No commercial factor enters the formula.
- No firm can pay to improve their Trust Score or suppress negative reviews.
- Firms are sorted by Trust Score by default. We do not artificially boost affiliate firms in the default sort order.
- Partner and sponsored listings are explicitly labelled as such.
- Partner tools are never scored, ranked or mixed into firm rankings.
- We moderate all reviews regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with the reviewed firm.
Your Rights

You may opt out of affiliate click tracking at any time via our cookie settings. Opting out will replace tracked links with direct links to the firm's website. This does not affect the information or Trust Scores you see.
